# Determine whether the information page was printed

Checks whether the policy's information page (endorsement code `P401`) has been printed for a given policy period.

## Steps

1. Caller reads `PolicyInformation.IsInformationPagePrinted(inDPI, inPolicyNumber, inPolicyPeriodEffectiveDate)`.
2. Inline scalar SQL ([SQL-007](../sql/SQL-007-information-page-printed-check.md)) is executed against [ENDORSEMENT](../database-tables.md#endorsement), filtered by policy number, period effective date, `ENDORSE_CODE = 'P401'`, and `PRINTED_DATE IS NOT NULL`.
3. Result is compared to the input policy number to derive a boolean.
   - Consumed by `PolicyInformationTester.Test_GetLossHistoryList` in the sibling Tests project as a functional check.*
